Cost

$70 per week - teaching
$80 per week - farm work/cultural insight/ecological placements

All money paid direct to the family that you are staying with. Cost includes meals and accomodation for one week. Note: these low prices assume a sincere interest on the part of the volunteer in local work to help local people: those wishing to visit Intag as tourists are directed towards the tourist section of this website, where there are some great deals.

Please note that we run the volunteer project on a not for profit basis, and rely on your honesty to say whether you prefer to volunteer, or enjoy a touristic experience. It's fine to mix the two experiences if you'd like.

Sunday lunch in the village (not usually provided by your host family) costs around $3, and a pair of rubber boots costs $10. Great for muddy paths, and protects legs from biting insects.
